I will overwhelm 'serious boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Former twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.

However, the novice remains one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial earnings.

The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
